Stargate: Atlantis - homecoming

Atlantis left Earth expecting to return to Pegasus.

Then Earth went dark.

Years later, the city finally reaches Lantea under the reluctant leadership of an older Daniel Jackson—only to discover that Pegasus moved on without them.

The Wraith are still there. Todd is now an uneasy diplomatic bridge. The Vanir return with claims on the Asgard legacy. Old enemies have become neighbors, trading partners, and sometimes necessary allies.

Atlantis can no longer be an expedition occupying someone else’s galaxy.

It has to become something new.

A city-state.

A neutral ground.

A place where civilizations that do not trust one another learn, reluctantly, to coexist.

And beneath it all, Ancient systems have begun doing things nobody commanded:

Gates open.

Destinations change.

Routes appear.

Something is moving quietly through the network.

When Stargate: Langara finally finds Atlantis, Daniel asks Jonas one question:

“Has your gate ever dialed by itself?”

Two stories suddenly become one.

HOMECOMING is not about returning to the old Atlantis.

It’s about discovering what Atlantis becomes after the old world is gone.
